Hot Springs and Giant Cedar Tree hike

Join us for a tour of the inlet viewing historic canneries, bays, waterfalls, and marine wildlife on our way to the natural Hot Springs overlooking the fjords. Enjoy the natural pools of thermally heated water while taking in the endless vistas of glaciers, mountain peaks and  waterfalls. When finished soaking in the pools, guests are provided a  radio to signal the boat to pick them up and continue their adventure. Once back on board we head to the towering cliffside at waters edge to view the ancient rock paintings and cascading waterfalls. The final destination on this 6 hour tour is a guided hike to the ancient cedar tree of the South Bentinck Arm. This informative 45 minute hike on the old logging roads of historic Larso Bay to the giant Red Cedar is followed by lunch overlooking the bay and its inhabitants of seals, eagles, and bear. Private tours will be given the option to do some fishing, crabbing, and prawning along the way!

Cascade Inlet and Mackenzie Rock

Climb aboard as we take you deep into the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest to one of the most scenic inlets of the Canadian west coast. Cascade Inlet has been referred to as the Norway of BC for its narrow fjord, towering peaks and numerous cascading waterfalls on either sides of the straight 14 nautical mile inlet. Sit on the open bow as we cruise down the inlet just meters from the towering cliffside lined with ancient pictographs and

seemingly endless waterfalls. Guests will be given the option to stop and soak in one of the natural Hot Springs on the waters edge before continuing on. Our final destination on this tour is the Alexander Mackenzie monument where guests can disembark the vessel onto the rock where the explorer Sir Alexander Mackenzie carved his name into the rock face at the waters edge ending his western exploration in 1793. This tour takes us deep into the fjords and provides an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing of Whales, Dolphin, Eagles, and Bear!
